Calice Becker is a renowned French perfumer celebrated for her innovative and artistic approach to fragrance creation.Born in Paris to Russian parents, her fascination with scents began at a young age when she wondered how flowers could be captured in a bottle of cologne. This curiosity led her to pursue perfumery, and in 1985, she began her training at the prestigious Roure Bertrand Dupont school in Grasse, France. She later worked at Quest International and currently serves as Vice President Perfumer and Director of the Givaudan Perfumery School.

Becker's portfolio boasts over 125 fragrances, including some of the most iconic scents in the industry. Her creations for Dior, such as "J'Adore," have set new standards in perfumery, blending floral notes with a modern sensibility. She has also crafted notable fragrances for brands like By Kilian, Tom Ford, and Marc Jacobs.

In recognition of her contributions to the art of perfumery, Becker received the Fragrance Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award in 2021. Beyond her creations, she is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of perfumers, emphasizing the importance of creativity and innovation in the field.
