When developing Silver Ceremony, the visual brilliance of silver sequins and polished metal served as the central inspiration. The fragrance belongs to BDK Parfums’ Collection Studio, a collection created around the meeting point between haute perfumery and fashion. Silver Ceremony translates the movement of light across metallic surfaces into scent, contrasting crystalline citrus freshness with textured woods and deeper resinous facets. BDK describes the composition through ideas of luminosity, movement, structure, and intensity, while perfumer Jordi Fernández explains that he wanted to capture the hypnotic effect of silver sequins coming alive under light.

Olfactory Notes

Upon the first spray, Italian Bergamot, Green Mandarin, and Italian Lemon create a sharp, sparkling citrus opening. The effect is deliberately bright and almost cold, reinforcing the metallic inspiration behind the fragrance. As the composition develops, CO₂ extract of Ginger and Pink Pepper bring a dry, energetic spiciness that keeps the freshness vivid rather than soft or sweet.

Finally, Silver Ceremony moves into a substantially darker and more structured base. Indonesian Patchouli and Moroccan Atlas Cedar provide the woody framework, while Spanish Labdanum adds an ambered, resinous depth. Citrus Oud Accord maintains a connection with the luminous opening while introducing an oud character, and Indian Cypriol contributes an earthy, dry woody facet. The contrast between brilliant citrus and deeper woods gives the fragrance its distinctive fresh yet intense character.
