As the daughter of King Tenitzi III, Estrella de la Mañana, a devastating beauty, falls for the Deer Prince, their romance sparks a chain of events destined to be immortalized in nature.

When King Tenitzi III learns of their love, he is filled with rage and orders their sacrifice to appease the Gods. From their final embrace, a shrub is born, its star-shaped flowers symbolizing their eternal bond. Days later, black vanilla pods rise from the earth, carrying the whispered scent of the lost lovers.

Now, if you’re expecting a light gourmand, think again.
