On my skin, Vetiver Gris by Jacques Fath opens with a vibrant burst of mandarin and bitter orange, evoking a sunlit citrus grove, crisp and invigorating, with a subtle hazelnut accord adding warmth. As it settles, the heart unfolds with neroli’s floral freshness, geranium’s green bite, and galbanum’s resinous edge, reminiscent of a lush, dewy forest at dawn. The base emerges with earthy Java and Haiti vetiver, grounded by powdery iris and Sinfonide’s musky depth, conjuring a refined, timeless elegance—like a tailored coat worn on a cool evening.
