Perfumer Christelle Laprade wanted to explore edible notes in a new way, focusing on savory and warmed elements instead of traditional sweet flavors. She created Sissa to start with the warmth of ambrette seed, allowing the toasted sesame seeds and coumarin to develop and grow, balanced by the enveloping and resinous qualities of labdanum in the finish. The composition aims to be personal and leave a cocooning impression.

Sissa unfolds like a slow-burning indulgence, beginning with a warm, nutty embrace of ambrette seed and toasted sesame, evoking the sensation of a cozy, dimly lit café on a cold evening. As the scent deepens, a creamy heart of milk and roasted tonka bean emerges, reminiscent of a velvety, spiced latte wrapped in soft cashmere.
