Rather than focusing solely on the rose’s petals, the perfumer sought to evoke the entire ecosystem: the damp soil steaming with earthy cumin, the tangled vines glistening with jasmine, and the humid air clinging to rain-kissed petals and bark

The fragrance opens with the piercing sweetness of Bulgarian rose, immediately darkened by the animalic warmth of cumin—like petals crushed into damp soil after a storm. As the scent settles, jasmine sambac slithers through, narcotic and green, entwined with the woody bitterness of cedarwood—evoking rain-slick bark and tangled vines.
