When developing Palolem, Sasva took inspiration from the atmosphere of Palolem Beach in Goa, known for its bohemian spirit, tropical scenery and relaxed coastal lifestyle. The fragrance is designed to capture the sensation of salty sea air, sun-warmed sand, tropical flowers, palm trees and nights spent by the water. Sasva describes Palolem as an olfactory interpretation of freedom, adventure and the simple pleasure of life by the sea, combining bright citrus, alcohol-inflected accords, Indian spices and exotic florals with a deeper amber and woody foundation.
Olfactory Notes
Upon the first spray, Orange and Rum create a vivid citrusy and boozy opening, immediately warmed by Cinnamon, Bourbon Vanilla, Plum and Cardamom . The combination gives Palolem a rich, spicy sweetness while maintaining a bright opening that reflects the fragrance's tropical inspiration. Sasva's official description also highlights orange and mandarin alongside Indian spices and Bourbon vanilla extract, reinforcing the contrast between fresh citrus and warm aromatic depth.
As the fragrance develops, the heart becomes more floral and aromatic. Carnation, Sage, Champaca and Jasmine create an exotic floral body, while Black Pepper and Lavender add freshness, spice and aromatic contrast.
