Grey ambergris, the almost mythical long preserved oxidized exudate of the sperm whale, is one of the most valuable ingredients in perfumery. Because of its rarity and cost, ambergris is synthetic in 99% of the perfumes in which it is listed as an ingredient.
Ambre Supreme uses a natural version, specially derived and processed using our proprietary ultrasonic extraction, in a dosage of 10%, which emphasizes this precious ingredient with its unique ability to enhance and unify other notes in a composition.
All the intriguing facets of gray ambergris are represented here, from amber and animalistic to mineral, marine and salty, adding to the fragrance what perfumer Antoine Lee describes as "luster, patina, feeling."
