Born on July 16, 1902, Antoine SORADORA's life was a tapestry of devotion, discovery, and olfactory brilliance. Raised in a devout family, young Antoine was seen as a future priest. Yet, beneath his tranquil exterior, he harbored a deep, mysterious passion: the intoxication of scents and the vertigo of perfumes. Roaming the plains and undergrowth of Portugal, Antoine was spellbound by the natural fragrances around him—from the wild lavender to the fusion of earth and water.
In 1920, facing a life-altering decision, Antoine chose to pursue his dreams over convention. He embarked on a challenging journey to Gréasque, France, where his gratitude and passion transformed a modest garden shed into a vibrant Eden. It was in the jasmine fields of Grasse where Antoine met Etienne, a jasmine grower, and together they forged a bond over their shared love for plants and perfumery.
The legacy of Antoine SORADORA and his collaboration with Etienne gave birth to a perfume workshop that would transcend time. Antoine's first creation, post Etienne's passing, marked the beginning of a journey that would extend through four generations. Meeting his life's love, Rose, in Aix-en-Provence, Antoine built a family and a legacy, passing his skills to his three daughters: Jany, Claudie, and Marie-Rose.
