Céline Ripert: Weaving Nature’s Soul into Fragrance

Céline Ripert is a French perfumer celebrated for her deep connection to natural raw materials and her ability to craft fragrances that resonate with authenticity and emotion. With over two decades of experience in the perfume industry, she has become a prominent figure in both niche and mainstream perfumery.

Born and raised in the South of France, Ripert's fascination with scents began early, inspired by the rich aromatic environment of her homeland. She pursued studies in chemistry, which laid the foundation for her understanding of the intricate components of fragrance. Her career commenced at MANE, a renowned fragrance house, where she started in the chromatography department, gaining an intimate knowledge of raw materials by analyzing their every facet. She further honed her skills at the MANE Perfumery School in Bar-sur-Loup, mastering the art of composition.

In 2015, driven by a passion for creative freedom, Ripert founded her own fragrance house, NANA.M. This venture allowed her to explore her artistic vision fully, emphasizing the use of natural ingredients to create scents with depth and soul.

Ripert's portfolio includes collaborations with various brands, showcasing her versatility and commitment to quality.Notable creations include:

  • Esprit Infini for Hayari Paris: A unisex fragrance inspired by the spirit of majestic birds, blending Davana, cistus, rose, immortelle, patchouli, and amber to evoke clarity and vitality.

  • Royal Power for Haute Fragrance Company: A woody aromatic cologne combining pink pepper, lemon, cardamom, tobacco, black tea, white woods, leather, balsamic notes, sandalwood, and musk, designed to exude strength and sophistication.

Ripert's approach to perfumery is deeply rooted in her love for natural materials and the landscapes of Grasse. She believes that natural ingredients impart a unique richness and depth to fragrances, giving them a soul.
